Un año más el Pride se coronará como la mejor fiesta de Benidorm con la décimo quinta edición del Benidorm Pride Festival.

La semana del 1 al 7 de septiembre disfruta de eventos tematizados, música en directo, fiestas y sobre todo del gran acto final del Pride, el Desfile del Orgullo el 6 de septiembre.

60 años desde Pretex, el primer bar gay de Benidorm 🏳️‍🌈

En 1962, Benidorm fue testigo de un acto pionero: la apertura del bar Pretex, considerado el primer bar gay de la ciudad. En plena dictadura franquista, este pequeño local del casco antiguo ofreció un espacio seguro y valiente para la comunidad LGTBI, mucho antes de que existieran los derechos actuales.

Aquella semilla de libertad floreció con los años en una vibrante zona de ambiente que hoy es epicentro del Benidorm Pride Festival. La historia de Pretex no solo representa los orígenes del Pride, sino también el espíritu inclusivo que define a Benidorm como destino LGTBI-friendly de referencia en Europa.

Una semana llena de eventos que no te puedes perder

Benidorm se une a la celebración del Orgullo con el Benidorm Pride Festival, una semana dedicada a la celebración ininterrumpida del Orgullo, con eventos tematizados, fiestas y música en directo.

• Lunes 1 y martes 2 – Disfruta del ambiente que se creará en los pubs y clubs de la ciudad.

• Miércoles 3 – Pink Party, KU Lounge Café, a partir de las 19:00, entrada 10€. ¡Recuerda vestir de rosa! Adquiere tu entrada desde la app del Benidorm Pride.

• Jueves 4 – Pride Pool Party, Marakka Club (Finca Les Palmeres), de 12:00 a 19:00, entrada 25€. Con food trucks, cocktails y zona VIP. Ponte tu mejor bañador y prepárate para pasarlo genial. Adquiere tu entrada desde la app del Benidorm Pride.
  •  Div@s Party en el Auditorio Julio Iglesias, a partir de las 19:00, un show drag impresionante con más de 20 artistas sobre el escenario, actuaciones continuas y una atmósfera única de celebración y orgullo, con entrada gratuita.

• Viernes 5 – White Party, Auditorio Julio Iglesias, a partir de las 19:00, entrada 15€. Esta fiesta ya es un must dentro de la programación del Benidorm Pride, y venir de blanco obligatorio. Adquiere tu entrada desde la app del Benidorm Pride.

• Sábado 6 – Benidorm Pride Parade, con salida a las 16:30h desde el Rincón de Loix, en el McDonald’s de la Playa de Levante, y terminará con una gran celebración en el Auditorio Julio Iglesias.
  • Main Stage Party en el Auditorio Julio Iglesias, 18:30h, colofón final del Desfile del Orgullo, con entrada gratuita.
  • Kluster – El Origen, llega a Benidorm de la mano del Benidorm Pride para celebrar su décimo aniversario. A partir de 00:00 en la Discoteca Penelope Benidorm, continúa la fiesta con artistas como Dave Urania (residente Kluster), Andrade (Residente Avenue Matinal) y Balibrea (Residente Pride Ibiza). Entradas ya a la venta en: Kluster Benidorm Pride 25.

• Domingo 7 – Bingo Boom, Benidorm Palace, a partir de las 20:00, entrada desde 15 €. Una noche explosiva de música, espectáculo y diversión sin filtros. Drag queens, bingo en vivo y una afterparty para cerrar el Pride por todo lo alto. ¡Humor, ritmo y orgullo en la mejor sala de fiestas de Benidorm!

Desfile del Orgullo, Benidorm Pride Parade

Este año, la esperada cita del Benidorm Pride tendrá lugar el sábado 6 de septiembre. El desfile comenzará a las 16:30 horas, partiendo desde el Rincón de Loix. El recorrido seguirá el paseo marítimo de la Playa de Levante, para luego adentrarse en la Avenida del Mediterráneo, finalizando en la Pride Arena en el Auditorio Julio Iglesias del Parque de L’Aigüera. Aquí, la fiesta continuará con música en vivo, DJs y mucho más en el Main Stage. Entre los participantes, habrá dos artistas del Benidorm Fest 2025, Kuve y Kingdom, que también actuarán en la fiesta.

El recorrido del desfile es verdaderamente especial, bordeando la costa y ofreciendo unas vistas espectaculares del Mar Mediterráneo. Durante todo el trayecto, el paseo se llenará de vibrantes carrozas, deslumbrantes drag queens, y una multitud diversa que llega desde todas partes del mundo para disfrutar de este evento lleno de color y alegría.

¿Qué actividades culturales incluye el Benidorm Pride Festival?

Durante el Benidorm Pride Festival, la ciudad se convierte en un espacio de celebración, arte y reivindicación LGTBIQ+, gracias a una variada programación cultural organizada por la Concejalía de Igualdad junto a asociaciones locales y autonómicas.

📅 Exposiciones, coloquios, arte urbano y cine LGTBIQ+ se combinan para reforzar el mensaje de diversidad e inclusión que define al Pride de Benidorm, más allá del ocio y la fiesta.

Exposición al aire libre: «Un Altra Historia»

Una de las propuestas más destacadas es la muestra urbana ‘Un Altra Historia. Referents valencians de resistència LGTBIQ+’, cedida por L’Armari de la Memòria de la Generalitat Valenciana.

🔲 Esta exposición consta de tres cubos de 2×2 metros que rinden homenaje a figuras clave del colectivo, como:

• El Titi
• Dolly van Doll
• Pepa Wells, entre otros.

«Cuerpos visibles, arte y deseo»: exposición en el Espai d’Art del Ayuntamiento

Once again, Pride will be crowned the best party in Benidorm with the fifthteenth edition of the Benidorm Pride Festival.

The week of the 1st to the 7th of September will be filled with themed events, live music, parties and, above all, the grand finale of Pride, the Pride Parade on the 6th of September.

60 Years Since Pretex, Benidorm’s First Gay Bar 🏳️‍🌈

In 1962, Benidorm witnessed a pioneering moment: the opening of Pretex, considered the city’s first gay bar. During Franco’s dictatorship, this small venue in the Old Town offered a bold and discreet safe space for the LGTBI community—long before modern rights were recognized.

That early seed of freedom grew into today’s vibrant gay district, now the heart of the Benidorm Pride Festival. The story of Pretex is not just the origin of Pride in the city—it embodies the inclusive spirit that defines Benidorm as a leading LGTBI-friendly destination in Europe.

A week full of events you can’t miss

Benidorm joins in the Pride celebrations with the Benidorm Pride Festival, a week dedicated to non-stop Pride celebrations, with themed events, parties and live music.

• Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd – Enjoy the atmosphere in the city’s pubs and clubs.

• Wednesday 3rd – Pink Party, KU Lounge Café, from 7pm, admission €10. Remember to wear pink! Get your ticket from the Benidorm Pride app.

• Friday 5th – White Party, Julio Iglesias Auditorium, from 7pm, admission €15. This party is already a must in the Benidorm Pride programme, and you must come dressed in white. Get your ticket from the Benidorm Pride app.

  • Div@s Party at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium, starting at 7:00 p.m., an impressive drag show with more than 20 artists on stage, continuous performances and a unique atmosphere of celebration and pride, with free admission.

• Saturday 6th – Benidorm Pride Parade, starting at 4.30pm from Rincón de Loix, at the McDonald’s on Levante Beach, and ending with a big celebration at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium.
  • Main Stage Party at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium, 6.30pm, the grand finale of the Pride Parade, with free admission.
  • Kluster – El Origen is coming to Benidorm with Benidorm Pride to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Starting at midnight at Discoteca Penelope Benidorm, the party continues with artists such as Dave Urania (Kluster resident), Andrade (Avenue Matinal resident) and Balibrea (Pride Ibiza resident). Tickets now on sale at: Kluster Benidorm Pride 25.

• Sunday 7th – Bingo Boom, Benidorm Palace, from 20:00, tickets from €15. An explosive night of music, entertainment and unfiltered fun. Drag queens, live bingo and an afterparty to close the Pride in style, with humour, rhythm and pride in the best party room in Benidorm!

Benidorm Pride Parade, Benidorm Pride Parade

This year’s date is Saturday 6th September.

The parade starts at 16:30 in the afternoon from the Rincón de Loix. The parade will go along the promenade of the Levante Beach and then continue along the Avenida del Mediterráneo, arriving at the ‘Pride Arena’ in the Auditorio Julio Iglesias (Parque de L’Aigüera), where the party will continue with live music, DJs and much more with the Main Stage Party. Among the participants will be two artists from Benidorm Fest 2025, Kuve and Kingdom, who will also perform at the party.

The route of the parade is very special, as it runs along the coast and offers incredible views of the Mediterranean. The promenade is filled with floats, glittering drag queens and a diverse crowd from all over the world.

What cultural activities are part of Benidorm Pride Festival?

Benidorm Pride Festival goes beyond celebration and nightlife — it becomes a platform for art, inclusion, and LGBTQIA+ rights awareness, thanks to a vibrant cultural programme curated by the Equality Department in collaboration with local and regional institutions.

📅 Open-air exhibitions, artist showcases, book presentations, and LGBTQIA+ cinema will all highlight the city’s commitment to diversity and human rights.
