🧵Les Nits del Castell: Artesanía, Pintura y Talleres en el Corazón de Benidorm
Como cada año, vuelve el mercado de artesanía de Les Nits del Castell se celebrará en las plazas Castelar y de la Señoría con más de 25 puestos de artesanos y pintores. El horario será de 19:00 a 01:00 horas, y en este evento se podrán encontrar desde joyas, bisutería y cerámica hasta pinturas personalizadas. Un ambiente único para recorrer a pie mientras se disfruta de la vida nocturna benidormense.
De lunes a jueves, a las 20:00 horas, los visitantes podrán participar en talleres artesanales, impartidos por los propios artesanos, en la Plaça de la Senyoría. Un plan ideal para aprender nuevas técnicas y disfrutar de la creatividad local.
Además, la Asociación de Personas con Discapacidad de Benidorm y Comarca (Asmibe) participa en el evento con un puesto de creaciones hechas a mano por sus miembros, como abanicos y encuadernaciones, demostrando el compromiso de la ciudad con la inclusión.

Con salida desde el Paseo de Colón, participan autoridades locales, la Marinera de Honor, la Comisión de Fiestas, collas, bandas de música y peñas. El acto culmina en la Plaza de la Senyoria, donde se depositan coronas de laurel en honor a los marineros fallecidos. Es uno de los momentos más emotivos del fin de semana.

Tras la ofrenda, continúa la música en el mismo parque. Ideal para cerrar el sábado con alegría, en un entorno junto al mar y con sabor tradicional.

1. ‘Benidorm a pie de calle’: la ciudad convertida en museo al aire libre
Y continuamos con la exposición colectiva ‘Benidorm a pie de calle’, en los Espais d’Art Urbà de Benidorm que acogen hasta octubre de 2025, una muestra fotográfica que transforma la ciudad en una galería al aire libre. La exposición está formada por 53 fotografías realizadas por alumnos y alumnas de la Escuela de Fotografía Mistos.
A través de retratos de comerciantes, residentes y turistas, así como escenas urbanas llenas de vida, la exposición ofrece una mirada auténtica, humana y multicultural de Benidorm. Lejos de los estereotipos, los 16 autores procedentes de diferentes rincones de España han logrado captar la diversidad, energía y cotidianidad de la ciudad.
Las fotografías se distribuyen en seis barrios emblemáticos: El Carrasco, El Pont, Hispanitat, El Campo, Ponent y Els Tolls. Un recorrido visual por Benidorm que invita a descubrir su esencia más real, mientras paseas por sus calles.

2. La Carta de Poblament: un viaje visual a los orígenes de Benidorm
Continuamos celebrando los 700 años de historia de Benidorm con una exposición imprescindible:
“La Carta de Poblament de Benidorm (1325) a través dels documents”.
Una muestra que nos transporta al siglo XIV, cuando el almirante Bernat de Sarrià otorgó el documento fundacional de la ciudad el 8 de mayo de 1325.
👨🏫 Comisariada por el catedrático emérito Rafael Alemany Ferrer, esta exposición combina historia, emoción y archivo visual.

3. Pinturas de Joaquin Reyes en la Casa del Fester.
Del 8 al 18 de julio de 2025, la Casa del Fester de Benidorm acoge una exposición de pintura a cargo del artista Joaquín Reyes Fernández. La muestra, organizada por la Asociación Cultural Manchega Tramontana, reúne una selección de obras de inspiración manchega y religiosa, en un homenaje pictórico a la tradición y la devoción.
La exposición puede visitarse en horario de mañana, de 10:00 a 13:00 h, y por la tarde, de 18:00 a 21:00 h. La inauguración tendrá lugar el martes 8 de julio a las 20:30 h. Una excelente ocasión para conocer el talento local y disfrutar de un recorrido visual lleno de color, historia y emoción.

4. El Museu Boca del Calvari acoge la exposición ‘Moda a pie de calle’ de la fotógrafa Joana Biarnés
El Museu Boca del Calvari va a albergar durante los próximos meses la exposición ‘Moda a pie de calle’, de la reconocida fotógrafa Joana Biarnés (1935-2018), considerada la primera mujer fotoperiodista de España y cuya obra custodia y difunde la Fundación Photographic Social Vision. La exposición podrá visitarse en este museo municipal hasta el 19 de octubre.
Invitamos a ciudadanos y visitantes a “visitar esta nueva exposición que traemos al Museu Boca del Calvari, obra de esta mujer que fue pionera en el fotoperiodismo pero también en la fotografía de moda tanto en nuestro país como a nivel internacional y que supo captar como nadie la esencia de su tiempo”.
Joana Biarnés es hoy reconocida como una figura imprescindible en la historia de la fotografía nacional, en cuya obra también destaca su mirada al mundo de la moda. Su trascendencia en este sector queda demostrada en esta muestra, que incluye casi un centenar de fotografías que presentan la evolución de la moda y la sociedad en una época de cambios trascendentales, desde finales de los años 50 hasta inicios de los 70, entre Barcelona y Madrid.

🧵Les Nits del Castell: Crafts, Paintings, and Workshops in the Heart of Benidorm
As every year, the Les Nits del Castell artisan market returns, taking place in the Castelar and Señoría squares with over 25 artisan and painter stalls. The event will run from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, where visitors can find everything from jewelry, costume jewelry, and ceramics to personalized paintings. A unique atmosphere to explore on foot while enjoying Benidorm’s vibrant nightlife.
From Monday to Thursday at 8:00 PM, visitors can join the artisan workshops, led by the artisans themselves, in Plaça de la Senyoría. An ideal plan for learning new techniques and enjoying local creativity.
Additionally, the Benidorm and Region Association of People with Disabilities (Asmibe) is participating with a stall offering handmade creations from their members, such as fans and bookbinding, showcasing the city’s commitment to inclusion.

The image of the Virgin is carried through the Old Town, then taken to the harbor and set on a boat to sail across Benidorm’s bay. During the sea procession, an offering is made with laurel wreaths, and divers place a replica statue of the Virgin underwater.
🌊 Final tribute: 21 salvos in her honor — a breathtaking and respectful ending to a weekend full of emotion.

1.‘Benidorm a pie de calle’: the city becomes an open-air museum
And we continue with the collective exhibition “Benidorm a pie de calle”, on display in Benidorm’s Espais d’Art Urbà until October 2025. This photographic exhibition transforms the city into an open-air gallery, featuring 53 photographs taken by students from the Mistos School of Photography.
Through portraits of local shopkeepers, residents and tourists, alongside lively urban scenes, the exhibition offers an honest, human and multicultural perspective of Benidorm. Sixteen photographers from different parts of Spain visited the city to break away from clichés and capture its vibrant and diverse daily life.
The photographs are displayed across six neighbourhoods: El Carrasco, El Pont, Hispanitat, El Campo, Ponent and Els Tolls. A visual journey through Benidorm that reveals its most authentic side, right on the streets.

3. Paintings by Joaquín Reyes at Casa del Fester
From July 8 to 18, 2025, Benidorm’s Casa del Fester will host an art exhibition by painter Joaquín Reyes Fernández. Organized by the cultural association Asociación Manchega Tramontana, the exhibition features a selection of works inspired by Castilian-La Mancha traditions and religious themes—a pictorial tribute to devotion and heritage.
The exhibition is open in the mornings from 10:00 to 13:00 and in the evenings from 18:00 to 21:00. The official opening will take place on Tuesday, July 8 at 20:30. A fantastic opportunity to discover local talent and enjoy a visual journey full of color, history, and emotion.

4. The Museu Boca del Calvari Hosts the ‘Fashion on the Streets’ Exhibition by Photographer Joana Biarnés
The Museu Boca del Calvari will host the exhibition ‘Fashion on the Streets’, by renowned photographer Joana Biarnés (1935-2018), considered the first female photojournalist in Spain, whose work is preserved and promoted by the Photographic Social Vision Foundation. The exhibition will be open for viewing at this municipal museum until October 19.
We invite citizens and visitors to «visit this new exhibition we bring to the Museu Boca del Calvari, showcasing the work of this woman who pioneered photojournalism but also fashion photography both in our country and internationally, and who captured the essence of her time like no one else.»
Joana Biarnés is now recognized as an essential figure in the history of national photography, whose work also highlights her perspective on the fashion world. Her significance in this field is demonstrated in this exhibit, which includes nearly a hundred photographs presenting the evolution of fashion and society during a period of profound change, from the late 50s to the early 70s, between Barcelona and Madrid.
