Copa del Mundo de Ciclocross – Benidorm
Este fin de semana vuelve una de las citas ciclistas más importantes a nivel mundial del calendario invernal ciclista a Benidorm, la antepenúltima manga de la Copa del Mundo de Ciclocross se disputará el domingo 19 de enero en el Parque de El Moralet.

Fiestas de Sant Antoni 2025
Este fin de semana se celebra una de las fiestas de la Huerta de Benidorm, las fiestas en honor a su patrón Sant Antoni.
Del 16 al 19 de enero será el groso de las fiestas, que terminarán el día 26 de enero con la misa Requiem en honor a los difuntos.
Recuerda que estos actos pueden estar sujetos a modificaciones o cancelaciones.
El programa de actividades es el siguiente:
- Jueves 16
20:00h – Engalanamiento de la Plaza de la Ermita de Sanz.
- Viernes 17 – Festividad de Sant Antoni Abat
18:00h – Final de la copa del TRUC.
20:30h – Misa solemne en honor a San Antonio Abat.
22:30 – Verbena en la carpa de la Comisión a cargo del grupo Carne de Cañón.
- Sábado 18
08:00h – Despertà
10:30h – Torneo de pilota en el Trinquet «Vicente Pérez Devesa, entre las escuelas de pilota de Alfaz del Pi, Benidorm y la provincia, categorías cadete y juvenil.
11:30h – Parque infantil con castillos hinchables y juegos.
12:00h – Volteo general de campana y bombardeo aéreo para anunciar el inicio oficial de las fiestas. Almuerzo popular.
12:30h – Gran Goblatada infantil.
16:30h – Partida de pilota extraordinaria en el Trinquet «Vicente Pérez Devesa» con jugadores de alto rendimiento del programa de Alto Rendimiento de la Escuela de Tecnificación de la Federación de Pilota Valenciana.
17:00h – Concentración en el Trinquet «Vicente Pérez Devesa».
17:30h – Romeria en honor a Sant Antoni Abat. Canto de las tradicionales copletas y disparo de la estampeta. Al finalizar, castillo de fuegos y picaeta.
22:00h – Entrega de trofeo de Pilota y el Truc. A continuación, noche amenizada por la Orquesta Summer.
- Domingo 19
10:15h – Recogida de autoridades.
10:30h – Solemne misa en honor a Sant Antoni Abat.
- Domingo 26
10:30h – Misa Requiem en honor a los difuntos.
Cuadernos Alicantinos – Ciclo de Grandes Recitales
Este viernes, 17 de enero, vuelve el Ciclo de Grandes Recitales, esta vez con «Cuadernos Alicantinos», con Maria Blanes al piano y la voz de Enrique Jordá.

Exposición El Arte del Ciclocross de Miguel Soro
Hasta este viernes, podemos disfrutar de la exposición El Arte del Ciclocross de Miguel Soro en l’Espai d’Art del Ayuntamiento de Benidorm.
Miguel Soro es ex ciclista profesional y un reputado pintor apreciado en todo el mundo por una obra pictórica que celebra el deporte en general y el mundo de la bicicleta en particular.
Sus pinturas más características son ‘collages’ que retratan a los héroes y hechos más célebres de la historia del ciclismo.
La bahía de Benidorm acoge la IV Regata de la Liga Suma
Más de 500 deportistas y 55 equipos competirán este domingo 19 de enero en la bahía de Benidorm en la IV Regata de la Liga Suma de Banco Fijo. La prueba, organizada por la Federación de Remo de la Comunidad Valenciana y el Club Náutico de Benidorm, comenzará a las 9:00 horas con salidas desde el puerto y recorridos de hasta 5.000 metros, destacando la participación local con equipos como Anémona en categoría SCM.

UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup – Benidorm
This weekend returns one of the most important cycling events worldwide in the winter calendar to Benidorm, the antepenultimate round of the UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup will be held on Sunday 19 January in the Park of El Moralet.

Sant Antoni Festivities 2025
This weekend sees the celebration of one of Benidorm’s Huerta festivities, the ones in honour of their patrons saints, Sant Antoni.
From the 16th to the 19th of January will be the main part of the festivities, which will end on the 26th of January with the Requiem mass in honour of the deceased.
Remember that these events may be subject to modifications or cancellations.
The programme of activities is as follows:
- Thursday 16th
20:00h – Festooning of the Plaza de la Ermita de Sanz.
- Friday 17th – Festivity of Sant Antoni Abat
18:00h – Final of the TRUC cup.
20:30h – Solemn mass in honour of Sant Antoni Abat.
22:30h – Verbena in the Commission’s marquee by the group Carne de Cañón.

10:30h – Pilota tournament in the Trinquet ‘Vicente Pérez Devesa, between the pilota schools of Alfaz del Pi, Benidorm and the province, categories cadet and youth.
11:30h – Children’s playground with bouncy castles and games.
12:00h – General bell ringing and aerial bombardment to announce the official start of the fiestas. Popular lunch.
12:30h – Great children’s Goblatada.
16:30h – Extraordinary pilota game in the Trinquet ‘Vicente Pérez Devesa’ with high performance players from the High Performance programme of the Valencian Pilota Federation’s School of Technification.
17:00h – Concentration in the Trinquet ‘Vicente Pérez Devesa’.
17:30h – Pilgrimage in honour of Sant Antoni Abat. Singing of the traditional copletas and firing of the estampeta. At the end, fireworks and picaeta.
22:00h – Presentation of the Pilota and Truc trophy. Afterwards, night entertained by the Summer Orchestra.

Cuadernos Alicantinos – Cycle of Great Recitals
This Friday, 17th January, the «Ciclo de Grande Recitales» (Cycle of Great Recitals) returns, this time with ‘Cuadernos Alicantinos‘, with Maria Blanes at the piano and the voice of Enrique Jordá.

Exhibition «El Arte del Ciclocros» (The Art of Cyclocross) by Miguel Soro
From Wednesday 8th January, we can enjoy the exhibition El Arte del Ciclocros by Miguel Soro at l’Espai d’Art in Benidorm Town Hall until Friday 17th January.
Miguel Soro is a former professional cyclist and a renowned painter appreciated all over the world for a pictorial work that celebrates sport in general and the world of cycling in particular.
His most characteristic paintings are collages that portray the most famous heroes and events in the history of cycling.

Benidorm Bay Hosts the IV Regatta of the Suma Fixed Bench League
Over 500 athletes and 55 teams will compete this Sunday, 19th January, in the IV Regatta of the Suma Fixed Bench League in Benidorm Bay. The event, organised by the Rowing Federation of the Valencian Community and the Benidorm Yacht Club, kicks off at 9:00 am with starts from the harbour and routes of up to 5,000 metres. Local teams, including Anémona in the SCM category, will also take part.
