Conmemoración hallazgo de la Virgen
La conmemoración del hallazgo de la Virgen del Sufragio es una tradición histórica en Benidorm que celebra el descubrimiento milagroso de una imagen de la Virgen tras el incendio de una barca en 1740. La imagen intacta encontrada por niños en las cenizas dio lugar a la devoción de la Mare de Déu del Sofratge. Este evento se celebra con actos religiosos, ofrendas florales y representaciones que atraen tanto a la comunidad local como a visitantes. Consulta el programa de actos aquí.
Verbena en honor a la Virgen del Sufragio
Un gran castillo de fuegos artificiales dará el pistoletazo de salida a la gran Verbena en honor a la Virgen del Sufragio. La fiesta estará abierta a todos los públicos y ofrecerá comida y bebida a precios populares. No te lo pienses más y disfruta del ambientazo creado por el DJ KALENDA el sábado 16 en la Plaza Castelar.
San Patricio
El día 17 de marzo Benidorm se tiñe de verde y deja paso a nuestros vecinos Irlandeses los cuales nos hacen partícipes de su gran celebración en honor al patrón de su país, San Patricio. Sacred music concert

Commemoration of the discovery of the Virgin Mary
The commemoration of the discovery of the Virgen del Sufragio is a historical tradition in Benidorm that celebrates the miraculous discovery of an image of the Virgin after a boat fire in 1740. The intact image found by children in the ashes gave rise to the devotion of the Mare de Déu del Sofratge. This event is celebrated with religious acts, floral offerings and performances that attract both the local community and visitors. Consult the programme of events here.
Verbena (open-air dance) in honour of the Virgin of Suffrage
A huge fireworks display will kick off the Verbena in honour of the Virgen del Sufragio. The party will be open to everyone and will offer food and drink at popular prices. Don’t think twice and enjoy the atmosphere created by DJ KALENDA on Saturday 16th in the Plaza Castelar.
St. Patrick’s Day
On the 17th of March Benidorm turns green and gives way to our Irish neighbours who make us part of their great celebration in honour of their country’s patron saint, St. Patrick’s Day.
