– Conferencia en Benidorm del nadador alicantino Jorge Crivillés
El nadador alicantino, Jorge Crivillés, ofrecerá este viernes 22 de octubre, a las 20.00 h en el Salón de Actos del Ayuntamiento de Benidorm, la conferencia ‘Abrazando el horizonte. Brazadas solidarias’, evento organizado por el Club Deportivo Aguaviva con la colaboración de la Concejalía de Deportes.
Crivillés es una de la veintena de personas en todo el mundo que ha finalizado los ‘Siete Oceanos’, prueba que consiste en superar siete cruces de especial peligrosidad alrededor del mundo. El deportista nada a favor del Grupo Español de Pacientes de Cáncer (GEPAC) y de la Asociación de Pacientes de Linfoma, Mieloma y Leucemia (AEAL).
Durante el acto, Jorge Crivillés ofrecerá detalles del desafío que pretende realizar el próximo mes de noviembre, una travesía a nado entre Benidorm y Tabarca de más de 50 km.
– ‘3.000 años de cultura del vino Alicante’
La exposición itinerante ‘3.000 años de cultura del vino Alicante’ llegó a Benidorm el pasado martes 19 de septiembre.
Esta muestra al aire libre se exhibirá en la Plaza de la Hispanidad y está compuesta por ilustraciones firmadas por los artistas alicantinos Erre Gálvez, Paula Alenda y Miguel Calatayud.
Una exposición 100% alicantina, tanto en la temática como en lo artístico.
–‘Sobre mujeres, ninfas y otras miradas’
Hasta el martes 17 de octubre, podremos disfrutar de la exposición de pintura ‘Sobre mujeres, ninfas y otras miradas’ de Fabián Salazar en l’Espai d’Art de l’Ajuntament.
El horario de visita será el mismo que el horario de apertura del ayuntamiento.
–22º Concurso de Composición de Música festera ‘Villa de Benidorm’
Este sábado 23 de septiembre se dará a conocer la autoría y título definitivo de la obra ganadora del 22º Concurso de Composición de Música Festera ‘Villa de Benidorm’. Durante el concierto extraordinario de música festera que interpretará la Unió Musical de Benidorm se estrenará la pieza, titulada ‘Essència’.
Una cita que tendrá lugar en el Anfiteatro Óscar Esplá a partir de las 21:00.
-‘En primera línea’
El domingo 24 de septiembre Benidorm acogerá una carrera solidaria a beneficio de Aspanion, una prueba que recibe el nombre de ‘En primera línea’ organizada por la Asociación Sociocultural de la Policía Local y que discurrirá por las playas de Levante y Poniente. La carrera solidaria se compone de 10k, 5k y Marcha Popular.
Con los fondos recaudados Aspanion promoverá sus programas de actuación, ofrecerá apoyo psicológico, social y económico y mantendrá sus pisos de acogida.
Anímate y apoya esta iniciativa este domingo a partir de las 09:00.
–Aqualandia Closing
Aprovecha el fin de semana y no te pierdas la oportunidad de visitar por última vez este verano Aqualandia. El domingo el parque acuático cerrará sus puertas hasta el año que viene.
Mundomar continuará abierto durante octubre, pero siempre puedes combinar las entradas para ambos parques con las ofertas que ofrecen y tener un fin de semana redondo.
Esta semana el parque tiene un horario de 10:00 a 19:00.
Exposición: ‘The Caves of Steel’
Este jueves pasado también se inauguró la exposición del fotógrafo Manuel Álvarez Diestro ‘The Caves of Steel’, un relato visual que nos lleva a través de imágenes de Alicante, Torrevieja y especialmente Benidorm, que quiere plasmar el dominio del ser humano sobre el paisaje a través del diseño de las ciudades.
Hasta el 3 de octubre se podrá disfrutar de ella en el Centro Cultural de Benidorm de lunes a viernes de 09:00 a 21:00.
‘Maratón del Euro’
Este sábado 23 de septiembre la Comissió de Festes Majors Patronal de Benidorm celebrará el ‘Maratón del Euro’. Dará comienzo a las 10:00 en la calle Tomás Ortuño, a la altura de l’Hort de Colón.
Además de colaborar con la recaudación para las Fiestas Mayores Patronales, también se instalará una barra de comida y bebida.

“3,000 Years of Alicante Wine Culture”
The travelling exhibition “3,000 Years of Alicante Wine Culture” arrived in Benidorm this past 19th of September.
This open-air exhibit will be displayed at the Plaza de la Hispanidad and features illustrations signed by the Alicante artists Erre Gálvez, Paula Alenda, and Miguel Calatayud. It ‘s an exhibition that is 100% Alicante, both in theme and artistically.
‘Sobre mujeres, ninfas y otras miradas’(‘On Women, Nymphs, and Other Glances’)
Until Tuesday, 17th of October, we can enjoy Fabián Salazar’s painting exhibition ‘On Women, Nymphs, and Other Glances’ at the l’Espai d’Art of the Town Hall.
The visiting hours will be the same as the opening hours of the town hall.
22nd ‘Villa de Benidorm’ Festive Music Composition Contest
This Saturday, 23rd of September, the authorship and definitive title of the winning work of the 22nd ‘Villa de Benidorm’ Festive Music Composition Contest will be revealed. The event will take place at the Óscar Esplá Amphitheatre from 21:00.
During the extraordinary festive music concert performed by the Unió Musical de Benidorm, the piece, titled ‘Essència,’ will premiere.
‘En primera línea’(‘On the Front Line’)
On Sunday, 24th of September, Benidorm will host a charity run to benefit Aspanion, a race named ‘On the Front Line’ organised by the Socio-cultural Association of the Local Police and will take place on Levante and Poniente beaches. The charity run consists of 10k, 5k, and a Popular Walk.
With the funds raised, Aspanion will promote its action programs, offering psychological, social, and economic support, and maintaining its welcoming flats.
Get involved and support this initiative this Sunday from 09:00.
Aqualandia Closing
Take advantage of the weekend and don’t miss the opportunity to visit Aqualandia for the last time this summer. On Sunday, the water park will close its doors until next year.
Mundomar will remain open throughout October, but you can always combine tickets for both parks with the offers available and have a fantastic weekend.
This week the park is open from 10:00 to 19:00.
Exhibition: ‘The Caves of Steel’
This past Thursday also marked the opening of the exhibition by photographer Manuel Álvarez Diestro titled ‘The Caves of Steel‘, a visual narrative that takes us through images of Alicante, Torrevieja, and especially Benidorm, aiming to capture the dominance of human beings over the landscape through urban design.
You can enjoy it until the 3rd of October at the Benidorm Cultural Centre from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 21:00.
‘Euro Marathon’
This Saturday, 23rd of September, the Benidorm Commission of the Patron Festivities will celebrate the ‘Euro Marathon’. It will kick off at 10:00 on Tomás Ortuño Street, near l’Hort de Colón.
In addition to collaborating with the fundraising #MetrePerLaFesta for the Patron Saint Festivities, there will also be a food and drink bar set up.
