Torneo padel paparinell
Este fin de semana continuará el IX Open de Padel Penya Paparinell.
El torneo comenzó el pasado lunes 25 de septiembre y se alargará hasta este domingo 1 de octubre, en el Palau d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm.

Proyección películas
El Ayuntamiento de Benidorm, de la mano de la Filmoteca Valenciana, proyectará este viernes, 29 septiembre, a las 19:00 en el salón de actos las dos películas de 16 y 35 milímetros de promoción de la ciudad datadas en los años 70 y 80 del siglo pasado recuperadas por el Archivo Municipal y por el organismo autonómico.
Proyección que irá acompañada de la exhibición de películas particulares del periodo 1920-70 que se conservan en el fondo de la Filmoteca y que da fin a la conmemoración del Día Mundial del Turismo.
Iberia Festival
Este fin de semana tendrá lugar el festival de música para despedir el verano en Benidorm, el Iberia Festival celebrará su undécima edición en el Auditorio Julio Iglesias los días 29 y 30 de septiembre.
Este viernes y sábado, Benidorm se convertirá en el epicentro de la música pop-rock con actuaciones increíbles de mano de artistas como La Cabra Mecánica, La Guardia o OBK.

Fiestas de moros y cristianos
Este fin de semana tendrán lugar los principales actos de las fiestas de Moros y Cristianos.
El viernes a las 10:30 se realizará la Diana con la formación del estandarte de la asociación, del bando moro y del cristiano, y de los cargos festeros que partirá desde la calle de las Escuelas hasta la Plaza de la Hispanidad.
Por la tarde, a las 20:00 se escenificará el Ataque pirata a Benidorm en la Playa de Levante (calle de Valencia).
El sábado a las 10:30 habrá de nuevo Diana en la calle de las Escuelas.
Por la tarde, a las 20:00 se celebrará la Gran Entrada Mora y Cristiana en la calle Tomás Ortuño, desfile que finalizará en la Plaza de la Hispanidad.
Por último, el domingo a las 12:00 será el Parlamento de Paz en el Castillo ubicado en la Plaza de SS MM Reyes de España, seguido de la Gran Ofrenda de flores a San Jaime, y a la 13:00 de la misa mayor.
Exposición the Caves of Steel
Este fin de semana será el último para ver la exposición del fotógrafo Manuel Álvarez Diestro ‘The Caves of Steel’, un relato visual que nos lleva a través de imágenes de Alicante, Torrevieja y especialmente Benidorm, que quiere plasmar el dominio del ser humano sobre el paisaje a través del diseño de las ciudades.
Hasta el 3 de octubre se podrá disfrutar de ella en el Centro Cultural de Benidorm de lunes a viernes de 09:00 a 21:00.
Además, esta semana será el Día Mundial de la Arquitectura, el domingo 1 de octubre, y qué mejor forma de celebrarlo que yendo a la exposición para apreciar las maravillas arquitectónicas con las que cuenta la ciudad.
XI Festival Internacional de Órgano Benidorm 2023
Vuelven los conciertos de órgano a Benidorm, enmarcado dentro del programa del XI Festival Internacional de Órgano Benidorm 2023, este viernes 29 de septiembre a las 20:00 en la Iglesia de San Jaime y Santa Ana, podremos disfrutar de manera gratuita del concierto de Cor de Nuit Trio y Gurutze Beitia.
Bye Bye Gaia’s Party 2023
Este sábado 30 de septiembre, podremos disfrutar de la Bye Bye Gaia’s Party 2023 en el hotel Agir Springs.
La fiesta tendrá lugar en el Rooftop Bar del hotel a partir de las 20:00 y un precio de 30€ por persona.
En ella podrás disfrutar de Dj’s y música en directo, además de cocktails y aperitivos.

Plans for the weekend from 15/09 until 17/09
If you want to make the most of your time in Benidorm, here you have a series of essential activities you shouldn’t miss during the weekend.

Paddle Tournament Paparinell
This weekend will see the continuation of the IX Open Padel Penya Paparinell.
The tournament began last Monday, 25th September, and will run until Sunday, 1st October, at the Palau d’Esports l’Illa in Benidorm.
The timetable can be checked on the Padel Palau Benidorm’s Facebook profile.
Film Screening
In collaboration with the Valencian Film Archive, the Benidorm City Council will screen two promotional films of the city from the 70s and 80s this Friday, 29th September, at 19:00 in the Townhall’s auditorium.
These films, recovered by the Municipal Archive and the regional body, will be accompanied by the display of private films from the 1920-70 period, preserved in the Archive’s collection, marking the end of the World Tourism Day commemoration.
Iberia Festival
This weekend, the Iberia Festival will take place to bid farewell to the summer in Benidorm. Celebrating its eleventh edition at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium on the 29th and 30th of September, Benidorm will become the epicentre of pop-rock music with amazing performances by artists such as La Cabra Mecánica, La Guardia, and OBK.

Moors and Christians Festivities
This weekend, the main events of the Moors and Christians Festival will take place.
On Friday at 10:30, the parade with the association’s standard, the Moorish and Christian sides, and the festival figures will start at Escuelas street and end in Plaza de la Hispanidad.
In the evening at 20:00, the pirate attack on Benidorm will be reenacted at Levante Beach (Valencia street).
Saturday will again see the parade at 10:30 on Escuelas street, followed by the grand Moorish and Christian Entry parade at 20:00 on Tomás Ortuño street, ending at Plaza de la Hispanidad.
Lastly, on Sunday at 12:00, the Peace Parliament will be held at the Castle located in Plaza de SS MM Kings of Spain, followed by the Grand Flower Offering to San Jaime.
Exhibition: The Caves of Steel
his weekend will be the last chance to see the exhibition by photographer Manuel Álvarez Diestro titled ‘The Caves of Steel’. This visual narrative takes us through images of Alicante, Torrevieja, and especially Benidorm, capturing human domination over the landscape through urban design.
You can visit it until 3rd October at the Benidorm Cultural Centre from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 21:00.
Also, this week marks World Architecture Day on Sunday, 1st October — what better way to celebrate than by admiring the architectural wonders of the city at the exhibition?
XI International Organ Festival Benidorm 2023
The organ concerts are returning to Benidorm.
As part of the XI International Organ Festival Benidorm 2023, this Friday, 29th September, at 20:00 in the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, we can enjoy a free concert by Cor de Nuit Trio and Gurutze Beitia.
Bye Bye Gaia’s Party 2023
This Saturday, 30th September, you can enjoy the Bye Bye Gaia’s Party 2023 at the Agir Springs hotel.
The party will be held at the hotel’s Rooftop Bar starting at 20:00, with an entrance fee of €30 per person.
It will feature DJs, live music, cocktails, and appetizers.
