El museo Boca del Calvari ofrece gratis la exposición ‘Guardianes del Mar’
En el corazón de Benidorm, nos encontramos con una gran joya para descubrir la historia y el pasado de Benidorm: El Museo Boca del Calvari. Hasta Octubre, el museo nos abre sus puertas de forma gratuita para presentarnos una exposición fascinante sobre la rica historia marítima y ataques piratas de Benidorm.
La nueva exposición, titulada “Guardianes del Mar: La Torre de Les Caletes”, nos invita a un viaje en el tiempo para explorar la vida y los tiempos de los piratas que una vez surcaron las costas de la región, así como la función defensiva de la icónica Torre vigia de les Caletes. La historia se despliega a través de una colección de artefactos, pendas y mapas fascinantes, todos cuidadosamente conservados y presentados.
Una oportunidad única de conocer todo el contexto histórico y papel que jugó la Torre de les Caletes a lo largo de varios siglos, es poder ver el material y objetos que los arqueólogos hallaron y recuperaron durante los años 2017 y 2018 y que se encuentran bajo custodia del MARQ.

Discover Benidorm’s past for FREE. The Boca del Calvari Museum offers the ‘Guardians of the Sea’ exhibition for free.
In the heart of Benidorm, we find a great jewel to discover the history and past of Benidorm: The Boca del Calvari Museum. Until October, the museum opens its doors for free to present us with a fascinating exhibition about Benidorm’s rich maritime history and pirate attacks.
The new exhibition, titled “Guardians of the Sea: The Tower of Les Caletes”, invites us on a time travel journey to explore the life and times of the pirates who once sailed the coasts of the region, as well as the defensive function of the iconic Les Caletes Watchtower. The history unfolds through a collection of fascinating artefacts, garments and maps, all carefully preserved and presented. It offers a unique opportunity to understand the historical context and the role that the Tower of Les Caletes played over several centuries, and to see the materials and objects that archaeologists found and recovered during 2017 and 2018, which are now in the custody of MARQ.

- Monday to Sunday, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm | Winter hours
