40º Edición Benidorm Half
Este sábado vuelve la carrera de larga distancia más emblemática de Benidorm, la Benidorm Half, con las dos pruebas que se disputarán: la 10K y la 21K. La carrera celebra su 40ª edición y ofrece a los corredores la oportunidad de disfrutar un año más de las vistas de las playas de Levante y Poniente y del skyline de la ciudad.
Como en ediciones anteriores, el circuito está homologado para ambas distancias y el evento está incluido en el calendario oficial de la Real Federación Española de Atletismo (RFEA). La salida será en la Avenida de la Comunidad Valenciana (esquina con la Calle Bélgica) y la meta se ubicará en la Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España.
La prueba de 10K mantiene el mismo trazado del año pasado, mientras que la de 21K incorpora algunos cambios y mejoras, como pasar por la avenida del Mediterráneo en el kilómetro 10,5. También destaca la amplitud de la salida, en la que se prevé la participación de alrededor de 6.500 corredores.
Como en ediciones anteriores, la Benidorm Half contará con corredores populares y también atletas de élite.

Y TRAS LA CARRERA… EL Run & Tapas
Al finalizar la Benidorm Half, como cada año, tendremos la oportunidad de disfrutar del esperado Run & Tapas, una experiencia que combina deporte, gastronomía y buen ambiente. Este año, además, tendrá un toque solidario: en apoyo a los afectados por la DANA en Valencia, el Grupo Aurrera donará 2 € por cada ticket de comida y bebida vendido.
2ª edición del ITF World Tennis Masters Tour
Desde el lunes 18 y hasta el lunes 24 de noviembre el Club de Tenis IQL Sports de Benidorm acogerá la segunda edición del ITF World Tennis Masters Tour, un circuito de tenis global que busca ofrecer una experiencia competitiva divertida e inolvidable a todos los jugadores mayores de 30 años.
La categoría es MT100 y forma parte de un calendario de cerca de 500 torneos a nivel mundial.

27 Años de Arte en Encaje de Bolillos
Esta exposición, organizada por la Asociación Bolilleras de Benidorm, celebra 27 años de dedicación a la preservación de este oficio artesanal tradicional valenciano.
Durante la exposición, los visitantes podrán conocer la historia y las técnicas de este arte delicado y apreciar el trabajo de los artesanos locales comprometidos en mantener viva esta tradición cultural.

Apertura del Aula del Mar
Este domingo 24 de noviembre ya se podrá visitar la exposición permanente del Aula del Mar.
Su apertura tendrá lugar ese mismo día a las 11:00.
Se trata de un edificio destinado a difundir la historia marinera de la ciudad, con áreas dedicadas a la pesca de almadraba, la Marina Mercante, el ocio y los deportes náuticos y la biodiversidad de la bahía de Benidorm
Horario: de viernes a domingo, 12:00 a 18:00.
IV Foro Joven
El próximo 22 de noviembre de 2024, a las 18:00 horas, se celebrará en la Sala de Prensa del Ayuntamiento de Benidorm el IV Foro Joven.
Este evento anual, organizado por la Concejalía de Juventud, ofrece a los jóvenes un espacio para debatir y compartir opiniones sobre temas como comunicación juvenil y redes, formación, empleo, vivienda, actividades, asociacionismo, voluntariado, salud, sexualidad y valores. La participación es abierta a todos los jóvenes interesados en contribuir al desarrollo de las políticas locales en estos ámbitos.

Plans for the weekend from 22nd until 24th of November
If you’re thinking of coming to Benidorm to spend the weekend and enjoy the good weather the city has to offer, but you’re not sure what plans you can make, we suggest a series of various activities so you won’t miss out on anything and make the most of every last minute.

40th Benidorm Half Edition
This Saturday sees the return of Benidorm’s most emblematic long-distance race, the Benidorm Half, with two races: the 10K and the 21K. The race is celebrating its 40th edition and once again offers runners the chance to enjoy views of the Levante and Poniente beaches and the city skyline.
As in previous editions, the course will be approved for both distances and the event will be included in the official calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA). The start will be in Avenida de la Comunidad Valenciana (corner of Calle Bélgica) and the finish in Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España.
The 10km race will follow the same route as last year, while the 21km race will have some changes and improvements, such as the crossing of Avenida del Mediterráneo at kilometre 10.5. It is also worth mentioning the size of the start line, where around 6,500 runners are expected to take part.
As in previous editions, the Benidorm Half will be attended by both amateur and professional runners.

AND AFTER THE RACE… THE Run & Tapas
At the end of the Benidorm Half, as every year, we will have the chance to enjoy the highly anticipated Run & Tapas, an experience that blends sport, gastronomy, and a great atmosphere. This year, it will also have a charitable touch: in support of those affected by the DANA in Valencia, the Aurrera Group will donate €2 for every food and drink ticket sold.

From Monday 18th to Monday 24th November the IQL Sports Tennis Club in Benidorm will host the second edition of the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour, a global tennis circuit that aims to offer a fun and unforgettable competitive experience to all players over the age of 30.
The MT100 category is part of a calendar of around 500 tournaments worldwide.

Opening of the Aula del Mar
The permanent exhibition of the Aula del Mar will be open to the public on Sunday 24 November.
It will open on the same day at 11:00.
It is a building designed to disseminate the seafaring history of the city, which is closely linked to the Merchant Navy, fishing and the almadraba, as well as the biodiversity of its bay.
Opening hours: Friday to Sunday, 12:00 to 18:00.
