Visita yacimiento ‘Tossal de la Cala’
El yacimiento del “Tossal de la Cala” se encuentra en la Ermita de la Cala de Benidorm o lo que conocemos como Mirador de la Cala.
Ubicado en un cerro de 101 metros de altura, el yacimiento se excavó tanto en los años 40 como en 1956, datando los restos hallados entre los siglos II y I a.C.
Gracias a los distintos materiales que se encontraron podemos asegurar que se trata de un fortín o ‘castellum’ que fue un asentamiento de los ejércitos de Quinto Sertorio durante las Guerras Sertorianas.
El ‘castellum’ ha sido musealizado y se puede visitar los viernes a las 17:00, 18:00, 19:00 y 20:00 y sábados y domingos a las 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 y 13:00.

Festival internacional de Ajedrez en el Gran Hotel Bali
Este evento se trata del más importante a nivel nacional del panorama ajedrecístico, siendo uno de los torneos de aficionados al ajedrez más destacado del mundo gracias a sus premios y el número de participantes.
Este año se celebra la XX edición del Festival que comenzó el pasado 1 de diciembre y se alargará hasta este domingo.

- Open Internacional de Ajedrez de Benidorm “Gran Hotel Bali”

“Orografía del Camino” Manuel Outumuro
Esta exposición del prestigioso fotógrafo Manuel Outumuro forma el que sería el recorrido necesario para dar con la instantánea perfecta, pudiendo comprobar así quien la visite, si hubieran elegido la misma fotografía por la que se decantó el fotógrafo.
La podemos encontrar hasta el 2 de abril de 2024 en el Museo Boca del Calvari, abierto todos los días de 12:00 a 20:00.
Programación de Beninadal
El sábado día 9 de diciembre, tendrá lugar el segundo taller navideño del mes.
En esta ocasión, se centrará en la creación de tarjetas navideñas artesanales y vendrá de la mano de ‘Naranja&Madera’, de 11:00 a 13:00 en el Museo Boca del Calvari.
Para los que estén interesados en participar, deben de enviar un correo a museobocacalvari@benidorm.org poniendo de asunto “Nadal al Museu”.
El mismo sábado por la tarde, a las 18:00, podremos disfrutar del espectáculo “FUN FUN FUN” de la compañía Regomello, en la Plaza de la Navidad.
El domingo 10 de diciembre, será la inauguración del Belén Municipal a las 12:00 en el hall del Ayuntamiento, y a las 18:00 podremos disfrutar de actuaciones para los más pequeños de la casa.
Some Guys Have All The Luck The Rod Stewart Story – Benidorm Palace
Directo desde el West End, Some Guys Have All the Luck celebra la carrera de uno de los íconos más grandes del rock, Rod Stewart.

Mirar no es tan fácil como parece’
Se pueden disfrutar en los Espais d’Art Urbà de toda la ciudad de la muestra colectiva ‘Mirar no es tan fácil como parece’ obra gráfica de los artistas Miriam Martínez Abellán, Susana Blanco y Erre Gálvez, que se podrá visitar hasta el 31 de enero de 2024.
El Espai de Poniente será escenario de la obra de Miriam Martínez Abellán, un compendio de ‘collages’ compuesto por 16 imágenes titulado “Habitar lo inefable”.
Los Espais de Carrasco, Pont e Hispanidad albergarán las 18 imágenes de Susana Blasco, ‘Fugaces’, ‘Era’ y ‘Radiantes’.
Y por último, en los Espais del Campo y Els Tolls se podrán ver las 19 imágenes del artista alicantino Erre Gálvez.

Plans for the weekend from 08th until 10th of December
If you want to make the most of your time in Benidorm, here we propose a series of activities to enjoy during the weekend.

Visit ‘Tossal de la Cala’ site
The “Tossal de la Cala” site is located in the Ermita in Benidorm’s Cove Cala, at the end of Poniente’s beach, and is also known as ‘Mirador de la Cala’.
Located on a 101-meter-high hill, the site was excavated both in the 1940s and in 1956, dating the remains found between the 2nd and 1st centuries BC.
Thanks to the different materials that were found, we can assure that it is a fort or ‘castellum’ that was a settlement of the armies of Quintus Sertorius during the Sertorian Wars.
The ‘castellum’ has been musealized and can be visited on Fridays at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.: 00.

International Chess Festival at the Grand Hotel Bali
This event is the most important nationally on the chess scene, being one of the most prominent chess amateur tournaments in the world, thanks to its prizes and the number of participants.
This year the 20th edition of the Festival is celebrated, which began last December 1 and will last until this Sunday.

“Orografía del Camino” an exhibition of Manuel Outumuro
This exhibition by the prestigious photographer Manuel Outumuro forms what would be the necessary route to find the perfect snapshot, thus allowing whoever visits it to verify if they had chosen the same photograph that the photographer opted for.
We can find it until April 2, 2024 at the Boca del Calvari Museum, open every day from 12:00 to 20:00.
Beninadal Programme
On Saturday, December 9, the second Christmas workshop of the month will take place.
On this occasion, it will focus on the creation of handmade Christmas cards imparted by ‘Naranja&Madera’, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Boca del Calvari Museum.

Some Guys Have All The Luck The Rod Stewart Story – Benidorm Palace
Straight from the West End, Some Guys Have All the Luck celebrates the career of one of rock’s greatest icons, Rod Stewart.
Paul Metcalfe delivers an authentic and charismatic performance from the singer; from the vocals to the showmanship and pure fun that have made Rod one of the most beloved artists of all time.
This show will arrive at the Benidorm Palace on Sunday, December 10.

“Mirar no es tan fácil como parece” Exhibition (Looking is not as easy as it seems)
You can enjoy the collective exhibition ‘Looking is not as easy as it seems’ at the Espais d’Art Urbà throughout the city, a graphic work by the artists Miriam Martínez Abellán, Susana Blanco and Erre Gálvez, which can be visited until 31 January 2024.
The Espai de Poniente will be the setting for the work of Miriam Martínez Abellán, a compendium of collages made up of 16 images titled “Inhabiting the ineffable.”
The Espais of Carrasco, Pont and Hispanidad will house the 18 images of Susana Blasco, ‘Fugaces’, ‘Era’ and ‘Radiantes’.
