La exposición «La vida es sueño» sigue llenando las calles de Benidorm, ¿queréis saber más sobre esta ruta cultural? 

La vida es sueño es una exposición de 43 fotografías de seis destacados artistas de distintas nacionalidades expuesta hasta el 31 de Agosto.

La tercera edición fotográfica de Benidorm Expone acoge los sueños de los diferentes autores y se basa en las diferentes formas de concebir y entender este tema por parte de los artistas y se centra en el género del retrato.

La ruta consiste en seis puntos, uno dedicado a cada artista en cuestión, distribuidos por las calles de Benidorm.

Los artistas que participan en esta muestra son Andreas Karyofilis, que expone en l’Espai d’Art Urbà; Eugenio Recuenco, en los jardines del Ayuntamiento; Vicente Albero, en la calle Puente; Evija Laivina, en la calle Dr. Pérez Llorca; Silvia Grav, en El Torrejó; y finalmente, Miguel Vallinas, en el Museu Boca del Calvari.

Andreas Karyofilis

Karyofilis participa con ‘Berlin Dreams’, una serie de retratos de personas que decidieron trasladarse a la ciudad alemana para cumplir un sueño: conseguir un futuro mejor.

Eugenio Recuenco

Recuenco, por su parte, presenta el trabajo ‘365º’, donde crea unas escenografías de situaciones imaginarias de los días del año.

Vicente Albero

Con ‘Chicos del Cobre’, Albero muestra un crudo retrato de la realidad de muchos niños que trabajan en los basureros para rescatar cobre y que, pese a todo, mantienen su capacidad de soñar incluso en las situaciones más desfavorables.

Evija Laivina

Laivina presenta ‘Beauty Warriors’, una reflexión de hasta dónde es capaz de llegar el ser humano para sus sueños de belleza a toda costa.

Silvia Grav

Grav profundiza en sus propios sueños y pesadillas para crear unas imágenes poéticas y surrealistas.

Miguel Vallinas

Vallinas, a su vez, plantea en ‘Segundas Pieles’ una obra en la que los animales representan a las personas desde la ironía y el sentido del humor.

La Vida es Sueño en Benidorm

The exhibition «La vida es sueño» (Life is a dream) is still present on the streets of Benidorm. Would you like to know more about this cultural route?

«La vida es sueño» is an exhibtion made of 43 photographs of six outstanding artists from different countries, exhibited at different points of the city until the 31th of August.

The third photographic edition of Benidorm Expone hosts the dreams and visions of the authors regarding different subjects that are the center of each exhibition, always with the particular features of the portrait genre.

The route consists in six points, each dedicated to one of the artists, distributed along different streets of Benidorm.

The participant artists of this edition are Andreas Karyofilis, who exhibits on the local point called «l’Espai d’Art Urbà«; Eugenio Recuenco, at the «Jardines del Ayuntamiento» (Gardens of the Town hall); Vicente Albero, on Puente Street; Evija Laivina, on Dr. Pérez Llorca Street; Silvia Grav, at the El Torrejó Square; and finally, Miguel Vallinas, at the Boca del Calvari Museum.

Andreas Karyofilis

Karyofilis participates in the exhibition with «Berlin Dreams», which is a series of portraits of people that decided to move to this german city to fulfill a dream: to have a better future.

Eugenio Recuenco

Recuenco’s work is «365º», where he creates sceneographies of imaginary situations of different days of the  year.

Vicente Albero

With «Chicos del Cobre» (Copper boys), Albero shows a harsh portrait of the reality of lots of children that work in rubbish dumps to get copper, but still keep their capacity of dreaming, even in this conditions.

Evija Laivina

Laivina exhibits «Beauty Warriors», a reflection of where can human beings get to fulfill their dreams of being beautiful, according to social standards.

Silvia Grav

Grav goes deep into her own dreams and nightmares to create poetic and surrealistic images.

Miguel Vallinas

Vallinas, at the same time, exhibits in «Segundas Pieles» (Second Skins), a work of art on which the animals represent people with irony and sense of humour.
