Benidorm se llena de luz, color y pólvora en marzo con la celebración de sus tradicionales Fallas. Un año más, las tres comisiones falleras – Falla Benidorm Centro, Falla Els Tolls y Falla Rincón de Loix – nos traen una programación repleta de actos festivos, sátira y emoción.

- 🎨 15 de marzo: Plantà de los monumentos falleros y Concentración en el Parque de Elche. OFRENDA a nuestra patrona.
- 💐 18 de marzo: Ofrenda floral a la patrona en la Plaza Castelar.
- 🎭 19 de marzo: Gran desfile de carrozas (18:30h).
- 🔥 19 de marzo: La noche mágica de la Cremà, donde las fallas arderán para despedir la fiesta (22:30h).

285 aniversario conmemorativo del hallazgo de la Virgen del Sufragio
Este año, se celebra el 285 aniversario del hallazgo de la Virgen del Sufragio, siendo un año muy especial ya que, coincide con el 700 aniversario de la fundación de Benidorm.
Entre los actos más destacados del programa que dio comienzo el pasado 3 de marzo:
💐La Ofrenda de Flores a la Virgen del Sufragio💐
El 15 de marzo, Benidorm se llena de emoción con la Ofrenda de Flores a la Virgen del Sufragio, uno de los actos más simbólicos de sus fiestas.
La jornada comienza con un pasacalle desde la Casa del Fester, donde participan las Reinas Mayor e Infantil, sus Cortes de Honor y festeros. Durante el recorrido, la imagen de la Virgen se une a la comitiva desde la sede de la ACR «La Barqueta», avanzando por las calles del casco antiguo hasta el Paseo de Poniente.
A las 18:00 h, tras el disparo de veintiuna salvas, da inicio la Solemne Romería, que atraviesa el Paseo de la Carretera y la Alameda hasta llegar a la Iglesia de San Jaime y Santa Ana, donde se celebra la esperada Ofrenda de Flores.
Cientos de personas, ataviadas con trajes tradicionales, depositan sus ramos en honor a la patrona, creando un impresionante mosaico floral. Este acto no solo refleja la devoción de los benidormenses, sino que también fortalece el vínculo de la ciudad con sus raíces y tradiciones.
🌅L’alba
El domingo 16, a las 05:00 de la mañana, tendrá lugar la concentración en la Plaza de San Jaime para esperar la llegada de la Virgen del Sufragio.
A las 05:30, la Iglesia de San Jaime y Santa Ana abrirá sus puertas y se lanzarán las correspondientes Salvas a cargo de la pirotécnia TURIS.
A las 06:00, procesión con la imagen de la Mare de Déu del Sofratge por las playas de Mal Pas, Levante y Poniente, que terminará con los tradicionales versos a la Virgen.

Ecología Política en «Un Mar de Filosofía»
El próximo viernes 14 de marzo, dentro de la segunda edición de «Un Mar de Filosofía», se abordará un tema de gran relevancia: la ecología política. La conferencia, titulada «Se busca cronograma para un mundo que empieza», será impartida por Luis Arenas (Universidad de Valencia) en el Centro Social El Torrejó de Benidorm a las 18:00h.
Este evento forma parte de un ciclo de conferencias que recorre distintas corrientes filosóficas, desde el existencialismo hasta la filosofía de las emociones, ofreciendo un espacio de reflexión y debate abierto a todos los públicos.

Benidorm celebra la XXX Campanya Música als Pobles con la Unió Musical
El próximo domingo 16 de marzo de 2025, la música llenará la Plaça Major de Benidorm con un emocionante concierto de la Unió Musical de Benidorm, enmarcado dentro de la XXX Campanya Música als Pobles.Este evento rinde homenaje a Francisco Antón «Picorro» y conmemora el 285º aniversario de la Trobada de la Mare de Déu del Sofratge, una de las tradiciones más arraigadas de la ciudad.
El programa del concierto incluirá piezas icónicas del cine, con obras de Leonard Bernstein, James Horner y Hans Zimmer, entre otros, prometiendo una experiencia musical única.

‘Las mujeres de Goya’ llegan a Benidorm

El Museu Boca del Calvari de Benidorm acoge la exposición Las mujeres de Goya, una fascinante muestra que reúne 83 grabados del célebre pintor aragonés realizados entre 1799 y 1824. A través de cuatro de sus icónicas series –Los Caprichos, La Tauromaquía, Los Desastres de la guerra y Los Disparates–, Goya representa a la mujer como protagonista de la escena, lejos del rol pasivo al que muchos artistas la relegaban en su época.

Observa.Cuestiona.Experimenta. organizada por la fundación la Caixa y Museo Leonardo Da Vinci -Clos Lucé en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Benidorm. Se trata de un recorrido interactivo para descubrir los principios de su creatividad a través de contenidos audiovisuales, juegos y modelos a escala real de sus inventos.

285th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Virgen del Sufragio
This year marks the 285th anniversary of the discovery of the Virgen del Sufragio, making it an especially significant occasion as it coincides with the 700th anniversary of Benidorm’s foundation.
Among the most noteworthy events in the programme, which began on 3rd March, is:
💐 The Floral Offering to the Virgen del Sufragio 💐
On 15th March, Benidorm is filled with emotion as the Floral Offering to the Virgen del Sufragio takes place, one of the most emblematic traditions of the town’s festivities.
The day begins with a parade setting off from the Casa del Fester, featuring the Senior and Junior Festival Queens, their Courts of Honour, and other festival participants. Along the route, the image of the Virgen joins the procession from the headquarters of ACR «La Barqueta», making its way through the historic old town towards Paseo de Poniente.
At 6:00 PM, following a 21-gun salute, the Solemn Pilgrimage commences, winding through Paseo de la Carretera and La Alameda before reaching San Jaime and Santa Ana Church, where the long-awaited Floral Offering takes place.
Hundreds of people, dressed in traditional attire, lay their floral tributes at the feet of the patron saint, creating a breathtaking display of colours and devotion. This deeply cherished event not only showcases the fervent faith of Benidorm’s residents but also strengthens the town’s bond with its history and traditions.
🌅 L’Alba
In the early hours of 16th March, at 5:00 AM, a gathering will take place in Plaza de San Jaime to await the arrival of the Virgen del Sufragio.
At 5:30 AM, the doors of San Jaime and Santa Ana Church will open, followed by a ceremonial gun salute by the fireworks company TURIS.
At 6:00 AM, the procession with the image of the Mare de Déu del Sofratge will set off along the beaches of Mal Pas, Levante, and Poniente, concluding with the recitation of traditional verses in honour of the Virgen, led by the Senior Queen of the Patron Saint Festivities.

On Friday, March 14, as part of the second edition of «Un Mar de Filosofía», a highly relevant topic will be discussed: political ecology. The conference, titled «Seeking a Timeline for a World That Begins», will be led by Luis Arenas(University of Valencia) at the Centro Social El Torrejó in Benidorm at 6:00 PM.
