Me llamo Francisco Javier Serrano Díaz, pero todo el mundo me conoce como Paco, me pidieron que escribiera mi experiencia en Benidorm Palace y la verdad que es una buena reflexión que me apetece hacer.

Trabajo desde hace diez años en el Benidorm Palace, aunque no han sido todos seguidos, he estado yendo y viniendo, pero como digo yo, el pájaro siempre vuelve a su nido y siempre me han recibido con los brazos abiertos.

Ser parte de la mejor sala de Europa como bailarín me hace sentir pleno en mi profesión, sentir ese aplauso del público recibido desde este escenario, cada noche, es una experiencia sólo para pocas personas, una experiencia que solo el que lo recibe puede entender.

 Empecé en el Benidorm Palace después de presentarme en las audiciones. Estaba entonces trabajando en otra cosa… pero no lo dudé y me presenté. Recuerdo el primer día… ¡Los nervios más grandes de mi vida! Venía de bailar en escenarios más pequeños, de hoteles y en el Benidorm Palace… la sensación de su escenario era que te comía… es tan grande…

Recuerdo especialmente el momento del foso… allí estábamos esperando que el escenario subiera hasta llegar al nivel del público… escuchaba a la gente desde abajo… estaba súper nervioso… tenía 19 años.

Cuando vine alguna vez de pequeño al Benidorm Palace, cada vez que bajaba las escaleras y veía la sala me decía: “¿podré yo pisar ese escenario?”. Mi sueño se hizo realidad, así que os invito a venir y cumplir vuestros sueños con nosotros, por mi parte, como bailarín, siento de nuevo mis sueños cumplidos cada vez que veo disfrutar al público.

I have worked on and off for ten years at the Benidorm Palace: I have been coming and going during that time, though as the saying says  the bird always returns to its nest and each time is  welcomed with open arms.

Being part of the best nightclub in Europe as a dancer gives me a great sense of fulfillment in my profession,  feeling that warmth and applause of the audience, each night, is feeling only a few people can experience, an experience that only the recipient can understand.

I started at the Benidorm Palace after showing up at auditions. I was then working elsewhere … but I did not hesitate to go along.  I remember that first day …I had never been so nervous in all my life! I had danced on smaller stages at hotels but at the Benidorm Palace… the feeling of the great stage and setting engulfed me… it is so great

 I particularly remember  the moment of the pit below stage… there we were waiting for the stage to rise to the level of the audience… I would hear the people from below… I was super nervous… I was 19.

When I was small, whenever I came to Benidorm Palace, every time I came down the stairs and saw the auditorium I use to say, «Could I ever step on that stage?». My dream came true, so I invite you to come and fulfill your dreams with us, as a dancer, I fulfill my dreams time and time again every time I see the audience enjoy the show
